KinderCooks and Library time

Today Alexa started KinderCooks Class! They offer it at our Community Center for really cheap! I know that I can teach her how to cook but that is not the point of this class. It is for the purpose of getting home schooled children socialization with other kids.

Today they learned how to make Brownie cookies with Chocolate chips in them and put frosting in between the cookies. They turned out great, and in between the baking time they got to play in the gym with all their friends.

The teacher let them eat one chocolate goodness in the class and take one home to share with their moms. But they had to take them home and put them in the freezer for awhile since they were still really warm.  Such a sweet teacher!

Then after the KinderCooks class they had a Library Reading Time and she got to go to that also. They read books about Feelings. After the reading time Alexa wanted to go into the Library and pick out some more books. Then I had an idea and stopped at the grocery store here and pick up a box that they have and turned it into a 'Library Books' box, since we always have so many books from the library this will be a great way to keep all the books together. (instead of mixing them with our books)
This is both sides of the box (Munchkin decorated them)
